During the remodeling in this Waukegan bathroom the top rail got cracked.

We had to bore the crack to make it level. Then the back side of the crack had to be reinforced. This method of reinforcement is similar to the way you repair a hole in drywall. Except the backing material is a polymer plastic and the filler is a polymer adhesive. This combination not only reinforces the cracked area but makes sure it is completely waterproof.

Once repaired the spot is air brushed to try to match the color as close as possible.
